GHRH

Growth hormone releasing hormone, the body's own signal to release growth hormone.

Why it matters

Several peptides are GHRH analogs, meaning they copy this natural signal to raise growth hormone in a more measured way than injecting growth hormone directly.

GHRH is made in the hypothalamus and tells the pituitary gland to release growth hormone. GHRH analogs are lab-made peptides that act on the same receptor, prompting the body’s own pulsed release of growth hormone.
